Onomatopee is looking for volunteers to host the bookshop and exhibitions space.
Onomatopee is looking for enthusiastic and customer friendly people based in and around Eindhoven to volunteer as a host at Onomatopee on Fridays and Saturdays 12 – 5 PM. During this time, we ask that the volunteer hosts the exhibition and mans the bookshop. We are looking for people to start hosting right away. Perks include: working in an amazing space, make great contacts, receive 40% off books and a volunteer compensation (5 euro per hour).
While you are at Onomatopee you more than welcome to:
Work in between helping guests (read, computer work, write, sketch, research) / Access our archive of books / Grow your network, meet makers, thinkers, writers, artists, designers and many other interesting people / Enjoy the exhibitions and events with free drinks / Help yourself to tea, coffee, snacks
Tasks that you may expect working on as an Onomatopee host:
- Opening and closing the exhibition and bookshop
- Welcoming guests into the building and introducing them to the current exhibition
- Keeping updated about the exhibition and Onomatopee’s program.
- Keeping the space tidy and organised.
The working language at Onomatopee is both English and Dutch.
