By probing and prompting the challenges of today within productive set-ups surrounding international specialisms, Onomatopee Projects both initiates self-organised projects and develops a range of diverse programming along others, with an aim of sharing amongst the direct, local community so as to continuously spark curiosity and provoke engagement.Starting first as a close-to-body wonder, Onomatopee subsequently enables a deeper penetration of the tissue, encouraging all that are present to leave with an almost academic basis of understanding.

On 10-19-2019, Onomatopee projects will open its doors to a new space that will function as a free and accessible ‘cultuurhuis’ open all year round. Here we will present, alongside a bar and riso-workshop, a whole series of presentations, lectures, workshops, publications and more, to operate as a project-space, public gallery and publisher.  At Onomatopee, we group along a whole range of international architects, designers, thinkers, and other, alongside initiating and hosting artistic and production-based collaborations with design biennales, institutions and other parties, all of which will be presented as the range of Onomatopee Projects.
