For a long time, an empty vending machine stood lonely and unused in a corner of Onomatopee's exhibition space. So we decided to fill it. Not with sweets or carbonated drinks, but with experimental publications printed in Onomatopee's own Risograph workshop.

This first edition of The Vendor is filled with rants, spells, fantasies, vents, experiments, dreams, poems and pictures by more than forty different contributors - all through open-submission.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit something to fill the pages of The Vendor and we hope you enjoy this summer compilation.

You are warmly invited to the launch of The Vendor on Friday the 25th of August from 19.00 - 22.00.

A few weeks ago, we reached out to writers and makers, asking for your
contributions to our experimental summer publication and the response
was overwhelming. A huge thank you to everyone who responded to the open
call!

We'd love for you to join us for a celebratory evening with drinks,
tunes, Riso printing, the publication vending machine and a small
exhibition. The Riso workshop will be open for printing too! If you've
got experimental writing, quirky sketches, heartfelt poetry, intriguing
insights, or even just charming doodles lying around, you can come and
print them for free!

We would love to see you and your work on Friday the 25th to celebrate
the launch of The Vendor with the gentle hum of the risograph printer,
music, and good company. It's going to be an evening filled with art,
heart, and great vibes. Looking forward to seeing you there!
